Proposal for third phase of Newhaven development.

Plans have been put forward to completw the third and final phase of the regeration of Newhaven Marina. The plan includes finishing the walk ways started in phase one and two and strengthening the West Quay flood defenses.

The plans began in 2007 and were approved by Lewes Council in 2012 but fell victim to Global economic problems.
​These plans were for 11 blocks between threw and nine stories containing 331 flats as well as mixed used facilities including berthing, completed riverside walkways, commercial floor space, business units and car parking.

Morgan Carn Architects have now redesigned the project in a similar style but with emphasis on limiting land reclamation, sustainability, viability and ensuring there are quality public water front spaces.
